Built-in Encrypted Health Cloud Environment for Sharing COVID-19 Data

  • With the recent growth of cloud computing privacy and data protection requirements have been evolving to protect individuals from surveillance and data leakage.

  • Cloud computing offers on-demand services including platforms, infrastructure and software that have been developed.

  • Combining Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Cryptographic Curve Cryptography (ECC), the sensitive files are stored in client side and uploaded to the server.

  • The results show that the impact of this built-in approach is more important than the other secure algorithms.

  • The built-in algorithm, adding additional layers of security did not cause an increase in the download and upload time from and to the cloud.

Cloud Computing Technologies Adoption in Higher Education Institutes During COVID-19 Pandemic

  • The global spread of Covid-19 has enhanced the adoption of virtual education.

  • Cloud computing is a model, which provides the users with services and application software on-demand, using the Internet.

  • There are many research challenges related to guaranteeing security, privacy and the integration of the cloud applications.

  • This study will critically analysis the views of the faculty staff and researchers in Iraqi universities on cloud computing.

  • The results show that about 99% of the respondents considered the cloud applications to have great role in encouraging the research works in their institutes.

Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices on COVID-19 in Kurdistan Region of Iraq: An Online Cross-Sectional Survey

  • First COVID-19 case was recorded on February (26th, 2020) in Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI).

  • Shortly after that number of cases increased significantly but, limited research has been conducted to assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of the population in the region about the pandemic.

  • •The objective of this study was to gain a better understanding of the people’s awareness and their attitude towards the pandemic by conducting a knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) survey.

  • A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional online survey, and non-probability, convenient sampling of 325 adults, was conducted during a complete lockdown period from (5th to 20th of April, 2020) in KRI.

Scheduling and Synchronization Algorithms in Operating System: A Survey

  • An operating system is software that is designed to manage computer hardware and software resources.

  • The scheduling algorithms are used to arrange the way that the CPU is assigned to the processes.

  • Numerous CPU scheduling algorithms exist as First Come First Serve (FCFS),

  • Shortest Job First (SJF), Shortest Remaining Time First (SRTF), Priority Scheduling, and Round Robin (RR).

  • This paper has dug deep into the real-time operating system scheduling issues, which is the current trend in operating system researches.

Workshop
Article Structure : The Secret of Acceptance

  • The key of writing a good paper:

  • Preparing before starting

  • Construction of a paper

  • Technical details

  • It is motivate the reviewer/editor to read your paper.

  • Thousands of papers are rejected every year because it fails to pass screen processing [first view by the editor].

International Workshop
Application of Blockchain in Cloud Computing

  • Blockchain : The list-like structure that stores information, data, and records for a hack-free and secure system is the concept of Blockchain. Every block is responsible for a specific task and is the cryptographic hash of the previous block, which connects them.

  • Cloud Computing : is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction.

Workshop
Ten Deadly Cyber Security Threats Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively affected the global economy and daily life.

  • Information and Communications Technology is playing a significant role in connecting people.

  • Malicious attackers have considered COVID-19 as an opportunity to launch attacks for financial gains and to promote their evil intents.

  • Organizations will have to deal with the growing security demands emerging from the increased risk of cyber-attacks.

The Future of Learning Environments with the Novel Technologies

"Cloud Computing as a Model"

  • Nowadays, academic institutions are becoming flexible in accepting the new teaching and learning techniques to satisfy the student sector.

  • One of these teaching technique is Blended learning which is a process refers to “mixing of the different learning environment for educational transfer”.

  • Deployment of Cloud technology in the blended learning process makes its existence more strong.

KTI FESTIVAL - Cisco
CBES: Cloud Based LMS for Educational Institutions

  • The proposed (CBES) model has been designed to provide a very easy to use environment for the users in the educational institutes.

  • The model consists of three layers (infrastructure layer, platform layer and application layer).

  • CBES has many features that were not presented in the previous works.

  • The next step of this study is to further enhance the presented model as well as working on the security layer.

Workshop "Garmian-Diyala- Babel Univ."
Fog Computing

  • Fog computing is a conceptual extension of cloud computing.

  • Fog computing related technologies will focus on agriculture, data centers, energy and utilities, health, industrial, military, retail, smart buildings, smart cities, smart homes, transportation and wearables.

Workshop
Higher Education Strategy in Digital Transformation

  • Digital transformation in the global higher education industry determines the future roadmap to a sustainable education management strategy.

  • The world we live in is changing at a fast pace and what we teach and how we teach is also evolving rapidly.

  • The widespread globalized education has radically influenced the universities to shape their learning and development, delivery and continuous improvement mechanisms.
